Topics

The Great Disconnect (Kickoff Keynote)

Over 75% of event attendees across industries suggest that ‘meeting someone new’ is their purpose for buying a ticket. Despite this intent, very few report new relationships resulting from their attendance. Over 50% of executives report feeling isolated or lonely in their workplace. Yet, few take steps to improve their sense of connection and belonging. This kickoff keynote sets an expectation for connection & provides tools for attendees to use that day and when they return to the office. This highly interactive talk has been successful across industries, but its focus on relationships of influence, powerful stories and shared aspirations resonates deeply with creative professionals and entrepreneurs. (Range: $7,500 - 12,500)

Designing.Community In A Day

This presentation is a lite version of the kickoff keynote that is focused on skills to be applied as we work, play and do good throughout our lives. (Range: $10,000-15,000)

Designing.Community For Conferences That Connect

In addition to his keynotes, Hugh provides creative counsel to event planners and conference chairs that want to design their events specifically for connection. This support can include calls with the event design team and a recommendation memo focused on setting expectations, space & signage, speaker curation, story sharing, and surprise & delight. This fee is discounted when combined with a keynote presentation. (Fee: $7,500-15,000)

Hugh provides a limited number of keynotes and workshops every year at a dramatically reduced rate for worthy causes and community efforts. If you think you might apply, email [email protected]
