Living at the intersection of immersive experiences, community organizing, strategic messaging and network theory, Hugh Weber's energy and passion are focused on building a world-class network of individuals, organizations, communities and ideas that can accelerate individual innovation in the OTA states and elevate the region's place in the world of creativity, community and innovation.
Hugh serves as CEO for OTA-Pollen, as part of an innovative co-executive team. In this role, he leads organizational efforts focused on engagement, experience and external relationships. OTA-Pollen is a for-purpose organization focused on sparking regional transformation through creative connections and collisions in North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota.
Beyond OTA-Pollen, Hugh uses a variety of research, branding and community building skills in his work as President of Storyline to reveal the rich stories that often lay hidden in cultures of businesses, non-profits, communities and individuals. Hugh has a gift for taking the passions and purposes of an organization and providing them the perspective necessary to inspire action – whether that action is a simple sale, engagement of advocates or a lifelong customer commitment. Hugh is fortunate to share these ideas, information and insights through many speaking and workshop engagements each year.
In 2008, Hugh started DudetoDad.com as a genuine cry for help from an ordinary dude who wanted to be an extraordinary dad. Dude to Dad grew to include a social network of 85,000 fathers, an Amazon Parenting #1 Bestseller ("Dude to Dad: The First Nine Months") and two more books coming soon.
Hugh lives in the OTA states with his beautiful, intelligent and extremely patient wife, Amy, four year old daughter Emerson, newborn son Finn, and an imaginary friend named Sally.
